Let's be honest, moving is stressful, and anything that isn't in your expectations in your day adds to that. Reina and her teams are absolutely amazing. Reina handled a small hiccup with professional and a positive attitude. The minor maintenance issues were handled promptly and with a great staff. They were knowledgeable and courteous of our space. (;sorry about the Vikings 👍). Sorry I didn't get your name . However , this is my opinion, connection with the residents. This is an amazing and quiet community.. we're from the Pacific Northwest, you can keep the pool open until February. 😁 You and you community are amazing.

I really enjoy living here. It is close to so many businesses that are beneficial for me. Easy busing stations are close by. It is a very quiet area. My maintenance issues are handled in a very timely manner. Reina, our manager, always sends an email for a notice to update us on delays or situations that will be coming up. It really makes me feel like I matter and not just because I live here now and they're done with me. Reina always has a smile on her face and is a real pleasant and genuine person to deal with. I know that the situation will get done when working with her. I really appreciate the amenities they offer. The gym offers me a treadmill which I really am fond of using. There are weights and a bike, as well. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are always very well kept. Pets are allowed, as well. My dog also feels very happy and comfortable when we are out and about in the complex. Maintenance requests are always handled in a timely manner. Quicker than I expected. And of course, to my satisfaction, Reina, the manager, always responds in a timely manner whenever I have an issue and always with a smile. My living experience at Alvarado Apartments is with great joy for me and my fur baby. I knew I made a great choice, as they offer to allow pets to live here. We also have a valet trash pickup and is a gated community. There are four parks and a dog park close by for our furry friends.They do offer poop bags for our furry friends, as well. Thanks to Reina and her staff for everything they do for us to make our living here pleasant. 🙂

We just renewed our lease for another year!! I absolutely love living here!! We have not had any major issues, and if something comes up it is addressed. Celeste helped us move in and she made the whole process simple !! The pool is the best part of being here it’s absolutely beautiful and well kept.

The staff are so friendly and its very easy process to getting moved in, they work with you depending on your situation. The complex is well maintained and clean. It's a pretty quiet place to live besides the fire station next door, it can be a bit loud at times. I've enjoyed living here so far and love going to the pool and the gym located in the complex.

I've lived here nearly two years. The front office has always been on top of their game. There are things they can't control, but quick to keep us updated on estimated times of solutions. The walk downtown is a breeze. So, if you enjoy being able to enjoy downtown life and the capability of being home in a hop and skip, this is the place for you.

I have lived there 8.5 years. It's convenient to downtown shops,restaurants and bars, as well as Silver St Market . Although downtown is some areas is a bit unpleasant, the area where Alvarado is located is in a tree lined area of Lead that is a popular walking spot due to it being in one of the better areas of downtown. Management has let me upgrade twice to larger apartments so there is flexibility if income, life changes etc allow for changes. The new apatments that have been upgraded are really sweet with new washer/dryers, flooring, shelves, cabinets, counters . Great new refrigirator/freezers etc.

The staff at Alvarado Apartments have been very helpful. Kudos to Celeste for always going the extra yard to assist by forwarding my concerns to the rest of the staff about a parking situation where non residents were parking in our gated community causing residents to not have available parking. After mentioning this situation to Celeste it was immediately addressed in an email to remind residents of the parking rules for the community. After the email went out the situation involving parking was resolved freeing up many spaces intended for our residents. In short, the staff at Alvarado Apartments looks out for the best interests of our community. Thanks to the Alvarado staff.

I moved into these apartments 3 months ago. And I am so happy with my apartment all the upgrades they have done are magnificent. My apartment looks brand new. Whenever I have any issues or things that come up where I need their assistance, I have been dealing with Vanessa. She is absolutely awesome. She is calm collective listens to my issues and takes care of things accordingly and in a timely manner. I am so impressed with their staff. She never hesitates to assist and never acts like I'm bothering her. The facility is well maintained beautiful grass area, pets are allowed, pool, jacuzzi, barbecue areas, gated area and laundry facilities are great. They never seize to handle things to my expectations. I enjoy visiting Vanessa when I have an issue because she always welcomes me into her office and always acknowledges me by name. Rebeka has been awesome as well. They don't just brush you off. They handle things when they say they are going to. I have been so happy here and it is so peaceful. Thank you for these amazing workers Alvarado apartments. ?

I love this place! Management and maintenance are great. Quiet inside the fence and no parking issues. Pool is nice. Very conveniently located… just a 5 minute stumble from the most popular bars. I’ve never had any problems! Would be happy to renew my lease if I could.

I actually love this place, it is quite pricey but unfortunately other housing in this area is around the same. Everyone at the front office has been so incredibly lovely, maintenance is so helpful, and there’s always parking which seems to be an issue for so many complexes in abq(from my experience). I recommend it :)

I love living here - close to everything and a great size apartment. Although is located at downtown is very safe and chill - I barely hear cars in the street (and I have very light sleep). The staff is great and very helpful all the times I needed. Totally recommend it!

A co worker of mine referred me to this place and I love it. If you take care of your apartment you will get your deposit back. We clean our carpets every six months. People complaining about late rent when the lease states the day it is late and the fee on the front page. It’s pretty clear. No hidden fees. We like to go to the coffee shops nearby. The amenities are always clean and they take care of any issues or concerns promptly. We looked around at several places and this was by far the best.

The reviews shared really surprise me, so much so that I decided to write my own review. I am a current resident. I've lived here for 1 year. I have lived in the smallest 1 bedroom and now I live in the large 1 bedroom with study. I really enjoy living here. I feel like the office does a good job of screening residents. People are not always moving in and moving out. It's a rather quiet complex. The residents are a mix younger people, perhaps students, working class people, young professionals and some older retirees. People are friendly but not in your business. Mostly people just go to work and come home. During the summer I can sort of hear some noise coming from the downtown bar scene but not so much that it interrupts my sleep. When I lived in the smaller 1 bedroom, I could sometime hear my upstairs neighbor moving about his apartment but not so much so that it bothered me. Now that I live in the larger one bedroom, I never hear my neighbors. I'm actually more concerned about them hearing my 3 small dogs. They can be barkers but no one has ever complained. It's a gated complex and like any gated complex, if someone really wants to get in, they will. I have never felt unsafe and I have never heard of an apartment being broke into. I have never had any problems with my vehicle being messed with in the parking lot. Basically, it feels safe. We have a small gym, a laundry room, a pool, and hot tub. Everything seems to be in working order and clean, at least everytime I have used any of the amenities. The grounds are well kept. There is established shrubbery and landscaping. Maintenance has a always been responsive. As for the water being shut off often, they do shut the water off from time to time but they always give notice and they try to do it during the time that most people are at work. It's a large complex and water/plumbing issues are bound to come up. They don't shut it off any more than any other complex that I have lived at. As for the price, its fair for what you get. If you want less expensive, it can be found in Albuquerque but it won't be in the nicest neighborhood and you may not feel safe. Fact of the matter is that bad things can happen in any part of Albuquerque. Again, cheaper is likely not going to have the amenities, it won't be gated, you won't have established grounds, etc. For the downtown area, its a fair price, not overpriced and not inexpensive. I have never had any problems with the office staff. They have always been nice, professional and straight forward with their answers to my questions. I've never had any problem understanding the billing, the rules, or the lease and I've never had any problems with a maintenance request. My apartment was clean and move in ready. I don't have bugs and have never had a bug problem. I like the staff enough to go in a just visit sometimes. I really like that they are not all in residents business. They do their jobs but they also don't get all in your business. They are pet friendly. Lots of people have dogs. They have an area for dogs to go potty in and they are pretty good at keeping it stocked with bags. Most people pick up after their pets. They make accommodations for emotional support animals. I live just a few blocks from work so being able to walk to work is great. I even get to come home for lunch and walk my dogs. I was without a car for awhile so having access to the bus was important. Alvarado transportation center is close and so is ART. If your going to pay your rent late, it's late on the 3rd, you will incur a late fee. If your going to break your lease, don't move here because they will enforce the terms. If you can't follow basic apartment living rules, don't move here. I don't know what else to say. I like it here. It's the nicest place I've ever lived in Albuquerque. I've lived at a lot of apartments. I'm really enjoying my new larger apartment with washer dryer hook ups. I don't have any complaints. This has been my experience.

I really love living here! I love the location and I feel like it is pretty affordable. The only issue I have is the roaches are pretty bad. I called it in several times but it has not improved. The bugs are the reason I will unfortunately move when my lease is up.

It was a great place to live. True that the water does get shut off, but they generally gave enough notice and it only happened (at most) twice a month. Other than that, everything was great. I never used the pool but it was always being used and people always seemed happy. The complex was always safe and quiet. Maintenance was always prompt and respectful. Getting my deposit back was easy and they were very fair with any deductions. The office was always nice and helpful to me whenever I had questions or concerns. I would definitely recommend living here .

New amenities in many of the units....and oh the pool!!! My gosh the pool is amazing! Crystal clear and so refreshing! I've lived here twice and would return again. Keep it up Alvarado crew! I don't think Alvarado deserves a 2.2, it needs a solid 5. I've lived here a month and get email updates on what going on in the neighborhood, and updates on the complex and I feel like they communicate with tenants promptly. They welcomed my service dog with open arms and even responded immediately when I asked about refilling doggy bags. By far my favorite place to live, spacious apartments, 2 bedrooms with the rooms on opposite side of the apartment for privacy, excellent lighting in the home and balcony space is wonderful. One single gripe i have which is my fault is that they had no grace period for payments after the 1st and I was forced to pay 94 in late fees. Totally my fault I should have paid attention, definitely going to be on time now, lol.
